When opening the page at http://www.dagbladet.no the images at the top does not
appear. This is reproduceable with at least all latest weeks nightly builds
(today is aug. 24, 2000), with Netscape6-pre2 and with Mozilla M17, all on
Linux-2.2.16-i386.

OK, I discovered that removing
<style type="text/css">
meny        {
            font-size: 10pt;
}
</style>
from the middle of that page fixes the layout. removing it allows the pictures
to be painted.

Well, I guess Dagbladet won't change the page, as it's one of the largest 
newpapers in Norway, and they will probably not change their layout engines or 
scripts or whatever because of a handful of Mozilla users. (Norway is a small 
country, you know.)

Is it possible to add "correct" support for this tag in Mozilla?

Yes, I did a little testing, and it is a problem. I think the document is 
invalid like it says, but it should stop the images from loading. I think this 
should goto core layout first

heaps of problems on that page:
A right column is entirely missing, so is all content below the "bottom" orange
box with white text/black background saying ":manual/kino"

I'm now using Build 2000092008, and it seems like this page is now rendering
correctly. I don't know if this is because the page was fixed, or because the
bug in Mozilla was fixed, but it renders correctly now (afaik).

This means the bug is fixed. Older versions still can't render the page.
Build 091312 renders correctly.

Petersen or karnaze should probably mark the bug as fixed.
