User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

When I shut down firefox and restart it the sites I am usually logged in to never stay logged in. This has started happening since I updated to 3.5RC and continues to happen in 3.5 final.
My privacy settings is set to 'Remember history' and I am not browsing in Privacy mode.
The 'Remember Passwords' is checked and in fact the sites I visit have my details in the forms waiting for me to log in, but normally they would retain the logged in state through browser shutdowns - this no longer happens.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I go to www.stackoverflow.com
2. I get a 'First time visitor' message and login using my openID
3. Now logged into the site I shut down firefox and restart it, going to stackoverflow.com
4. I am now logged out again and get the 'First time visitor' message again.
The history doesn't sqave your login state, most websites are doing that with cookies. Are you sure that you don't dekete the cookies on exit and have you tried to clear the cookies for that site ?
Does this happen in safe mode? You might want to check out,
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Preferences+are+not+saved and clearing your cookies
Is this still happening? Are you sure that your Privacy settings aren't set to forget cookies?
Resolving as INCOMPLETE due to lack of response to comment #3.
