After finishing installing, and even after restarted the computer to finish installation, i still see the ''instaler'' icon, instead of the mozilla firefox browser icon in the shortcut

What do you mean by "installer" icon? can you post a screenshot?

Did you select the option during the install to create a desktop icon?  Can you try clearing your icon cache:

A quick way to clear this cache is to go to the Appearance tab of Desktop properties and change the default icon size. If the current size is 32, change it to 33 then press the Apply button. After all the disk activity settles down, change the size back to 32, and apply again.
