right clicking on mutliple highlighted messages, unselects all

Details
When you hightly multiple messages, then right click to get the menu without
holding control, all of the messages except the one you clicked lose highlite.
I think this is similar to a bug filed by fenella@netscape.com. Also, I'm
wondering if this is a bug in the toolkit area. cc: jrgm.

Yes, this is bug 47917 (and despite the title of that bug, it doesn't matter
what the operation is (delete/copy/etc.). It's just the process of bringing
up the context menu that causes the selection to get reset).
I think the tree widget should support this generically, and there is an outline
of a fix on that other bug.
