On this install of 3.5 i have a webmail notifier from yahoo that comes on my screen every ten minutes exactly ... tried all i know to remove but cannot. do not have yahoo webmail or yahoo tab open, haven't had 1 open for weeks ... on previous install had same problem (re installed today Jul 1, 2009, 1300 hrs Atlantic time zone) ... and other probs like crashes 5 times a day, crash reporter which would always have a problem submitting report and NEVER FILE A REPORT ...many different problems in my old install of, i believe 3.5.

I tried to erase the webmailNotifier last night by turning off Firefox for an hour immed after a display of WebmailNotifier.
The WebmailNotifier redisplayed itself.
I tried to erase it by re installing firefox ... and when i was on the home page after re installation, it reappeared and continues to reappear every 10 minutes.
I HAV A SCREEN SHOT BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SEND IT TO THE PERSON WHO WILL INHERET THE FIXING OF THIS BUG. CONTACT ME WITH AN EMAIL ADDRESS AND NAME THAT I CAN SEND IT BY REPLY BUT MENTION YOU WANT ME TO SEND SCREEN SHOT.

You problem sounds like extension related issues.  Try running Firefox in safe mode or creating a new profile.

Invalid since this is caused by webmail notifier.  Please contact the extension developer for further help.  You can find the extensions hompage in the Tools->Addons, right-click addon and go to extension homepage.  Or find the extension on addons.mozilla.org and find the author's contact info there.

Bugzilla is for Firefox bugs and not for extension causing issue.  Support.mozilla.org would be a lot better for helping you out here.

To give you a little insight, someone used this before on your computer in your profile since it has a login name.  Maybe the extension is installed in the global extensions folder.  Go to your profile and go up a folder or two until you find the extensions folder there and see if webmail notifier is there.
