If I attempt to close Firefox using the  X  the app will not close.  It will only close by selecting File - Exit

It is also not possible to "close" Firefox when minimised and using the "close" or ALT + F4

This works fine for me. Maybe caused by an add-on? Please try safe-mode to find out: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode

OK, it works fine in Safe Mode with Add On's disabled! So which add on is it?  I will have to gop through one at a time!
