Sorry, my English is bad ... Therefore in German:
1. Beim Öffnen einer leeren Seite in Firefox zeigt die Fehlerkonsole eine Meldung 
"Nicht übereinstimmendes Tag. Erwartet: </meta>.

2. Beim Anklicken des links "moz-nullprincipal:{ ..." kommt die Meldung "Firefox weiß nicht, wie diese Adresse geöffnet werden soll, da das Protokoll (view-source) mit keinem Programm verknüpft ist."
3. Anklicken von OK öffnet eine leere Seite.
4. In der Fehlerkonsole folgt die Meldung:
"uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x804b00 12 (NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL) [nsIWebNavigation.loadURI]11 nsresult: "0x804b0012 (NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_PROTOCOL)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global /content/viewSource.js :: viewSource :: line 156" data: no]"
5. Entsprechende Dateien sind auf meinem Computer nicht zu finden ...

Neue Version 3.5 installiert.

1. Veränderte Meldung in der Fehlerkonsole:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Firefox with an empty address (the address line is empty, the tab is named (in German) (Unbenannt)
2. In menu Common: Firefox starts with "Leere Seite"
3. No known errors by performing sites (except those of the sites itself, often!)
Actual Results:  
Because no special site is called I think that is an error of Firefox or maybe appended programs.

Hast Du das Problem immer noch mit einer aktuellen Firefox Version (3.6.3) ?
"Nicht übereinstimmendes Tag. Erwartet: </meta>." is "mismatched tag. Expected: </meta>" (per http://mxr.mozilla.org/l10n-central/source/de/dom/chrome/layout/xmlparser.properties#44 and http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/locales/en-US/chrome/layout/xmlparser.properties#44)

Apparently (just filed bug 565480), this happens when someone uses certain construct to parse invalid XML. Since I couldn't find similar bug reports, it's probably related to your configuration and it would be helpful if you tried http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode on the most recent release to check if the problem is related to an extension you have.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
