Hi, Okay so disabling add-ons via safe mode was successful (of course!) Then I disabled all my add-ons (without creating new profile) and one by one activating add-on, restarting and so on. Found that Gmail Manager 0.5.7.2 is the faulty one for bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=501859 and in combination with add-on Torbutton 1.2.1 for this bug (501861). When Torbutton is activated and Gmail Manager is on iGoogle page is messing up css and the page is not displayed properly. With Torbutton on but Gmail Manager off, no problem. Deactivating Gmail Manager resolved all my problems.
Not a Firefox bug then. Please contact the extension author for further help.
