Trying to close the last tab leaves the whole content in the browser (url and content). Choosing "Home" (about:blank) doesn't help.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open two tabs with an url
2.Close one tab with <Ctrl F4> or the "Close" button. One tab ist left
3.Close the last tab (anyhow) => nothing happens
4. Undo Close tab: nothing happens
Actual Results:  
The content of the last tab remains on the screen

Expected Results:  
Should behave like the 3.0 version: blank the url and the tab content

Do you get the same in the Firefox safemode ?

No, in safemode, it works fine

The safemode is just Firefox without Themes and extensions.
It must be a bug in on of the installed extension if it works in the safemode.
Disable the extensions under Tools/addons one by one with a Firefox restart to find the one that is causing this issue. Report the issue to the author of that extension.
