When I recieve new message in Pidgin, virtual desktop where is Pidgin is set to 'urgent'. (result - see attached image(left top corner)) It would be great if Thunderbird had this feature, too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. receive new mail/feed message.

Summary: request: set window manager 'urgent' hint → set Awesome window manager 'urgent' hint when new mail arrive
This would also be useful for the xmonad window manager. If anyone wants a workaround, you can install the Mailbox Alert extension and then write a script that sets the urgent property (I wrote one myself and can post it if anyone wants). https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/mailbox-alert/
