+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #502305 +++

I think suno should make use of an add-ons grey list to let users know (prior to creating a post) that they have incompatible extensions known to cause XXX problem(s). Triaging after the Firefox 3.5 release (just like after any release) produced A LOT of bug reports that in the end were all caused by incompatible add-ons or add-ons that were marked compatible but in one way or another were not fully compatible.

Having an add-ons grey list as proposed in bug 502304 and making use of said list here on sumo prior to a user filing a thread or searching would save who knows how many bugs reports and responding.

Sounds like an interesting idea to make sure the AAQ process helps asking quality questions and helps people before they needs to ask a question.

This bug is very old, and it is lacking details. Where can SUMO get this list of grey addons? The bugs blocking this one don't seem to have any details about where to get this information.

I'm going to close this now, but if a) this is still desired, and b) the above information can be provided, please re-open it.
