Please try doing this things and retest between each step: a) Clear the Firefox disk cache (with delete private data) b) delete the stored facebook cookies (can be done in the options under show cookies) c) Try the safemode : http://support.mozilla.com/en/kb/Safe+Mode d) try creating an additional test profile : http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+Profiles
I had never used Twitter on the computer on which I had the issue. Neverless, clearing all private data fixed this problem. Set status to Resolved->Wontfix. Sorry to disturb with this.
