Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
When full screen mode is activated, and auto-hide (Firefox) is activated, then the keystroke Ctrl+T (New Tab) is used, after that, when you click in the Awesomebar you are able edit the "Search Bookmarks and History" phrase as if it were in a text box. Ctrl+V (Paste) works too, but Ctrl+C (Copy) does not work on it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Press F11 (Full Screen) or View -> Full Screen
2. Wait for the top menu to auto-hide
3. Press Ctrl+T (New Tab)
4. Go to the top of the screen and click in the Awesomebar
5. Edit the "Search Bookmarks and History" phrase as if it were in a text box
Actual Results:
The "Search Bookmarks and History" phrase acts as if it were in a text box. Then enter key performs no actions.
Expected Results:
The "Search Bookmarks and History" phrase should disappear and then a web address or bookmark and history search could be typed in the Awesomebar.
As far as I know this only works with the default theme (I haven't tried any others). After you click out of the Awesomebar once and click back in normal functionality resumes. Also, if the new tab button is used or if the top menu is not auto-hid, this will not work, and normal functionality will resume.
Confirmed on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Works for me on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2a1pre) Gecko/20090704 Minefield/3.6a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Confirming and setting version to 3.5 branch.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
Also this is not a default theme issue, as it happens on the NASA Night Launch theme as well.
