Firefox will allow an extension to be installed even if it is already installed and the extension has not been updated.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Find an extension in Tools -> Add-ons
2. Find it on addons.mozilla.org
3. Click "Add to Firefox"
Actual Results:  
Firefox will install the extension, giving no indication that the extension is already installed or that the extension is the same version previously installed.

Expected Results:  
Firefox should display a confirmation saying something like "This extension is already installed. Do you want to continue?"

I think this is not exactly a duplicate. The user might want to know even if the installed extension is of the same version, so no reinstallation may be needed.
