Can you please more specific what you are trying to do? Which download forum? Which searchbar? Please give us detailed STR so we know how to reproduce your problem. Thanks.
-I'm using a PT-BR version of Mozilla Firefox 3.5 -I've started 4 downloads. -I used [Ctrl + J] to open the downloads form. -I typed a word in the search bar localized in the right inferior position of the form. -The result of the search was always all downloads, regardless of words typed.

Guilherme, that's not a problem. I believe we can iterate us to identify the cause. Do you have any extensions installed? If yes, you should try to run Firefox in Safe Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode). Does it work that way? If not can you please tell us if the search feature does not work at all or only for running downloads. And do you see any error in the Error Console which can be found under tools.
Summary: search bar is not working as well (Downloads Form) → Searching in Download Manager does not work
The search feature does not work at for running downloads. I think this is not a problem, but it will be a good feature to me because I do many downloads per day. A search feature that the result is a focus to a running download. Not like a SQL like clause. A grid with the downloads and a command "like order by in SQL" in title click will be good too. Thank You.

A search for running downloads should succeed. And it works for me. Please run in safe mode and check it again please.

In safe mode not works to for running downloads
And what about errors shown in the error console? Further it would be helpful if you could try out an en-US build. It should not be a problem of the localized build but just to make sure.
No errors in the console. I'm download the en-US version Thank You.
Can you please create a new profile, and try there (with no changes) http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles did the US version work?
