The voluntary product accessibility template (VPAT) for Firefox 3.0 is also valid for Firefox 3.5. Please update the version number statement in the above mentioned file. This is important for government agencies in the U.S. concerned with Section 508 compliance of products they want/need to use.
Just so I'm clear, is this simply a matter of changing the references to 3.0 (I count two of them) to 3.5?
(In reply to comment #1) > Just so I'm clear, is this simply a matter of changing the references to 3.0 (I > count two of them) to 3.5? Or change them to "3.0 and 3.5" to make clear that this applies to both. Whichever works best for our overall marketing/product communications.
The date listed at the beginning of the VPAT page (currently "06/10/2008") should also be changed to be the date the change was made. I recommend writing the date in the YYYY/MM/DD format to reduce confusion over whether we're using US-style or European-style date format.
Just pushed the changes live through Kubla...should be on the site in a few minutes.
