OK, I've signed up for the newsletter. Will have to wait for one to be sent out. In the mean time, I cannot imagine why it would not display in Eudora 8 as Eudora 8 uses the same engine as Thunderbird and has MUCH better html support than Eudora 7.x and earlier... Could you send me a screen shot of the problem, and also a copy of one of the problem messages? To save a copy, right click a message and select Save as then save the .eml file to your desktop. Please attach that file (Zipped first, if possible) to email@example.com or to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks, Matt
Screenshots sent with the Eudora7.1 source file. 7.1 won't save in the the .eml format. I forgot to tell you that I have IMPORTED my email data base into Eudora 8.06b instead of downloading it from the ISP's server. Does this make a difference?

Does this make a difference? It might make a difference, but seeing as it does not really display correctly in Eudora 7 either, I wouldn't worry about the problem being importer-related. It will be interesting, however, to see what happens to a message received by Eudora 8 instead of being imported from Eudora 7. My guess is that Eudora 7 received a garbled message then when imported to Eudora 8 the garbling was passed on. Eudora 8 MIGHT be better at decoding the original message than Eudora 7 was. It is Eudora 8 that can save as '.eml', not Eudora 7, but no sense sending the eml file if it was not downloaded by Eudora 8. Thanks, Matt
