When Firefox 3.5 is the ONLY application running, using Exit from the pull down menu makes the browser hang as does the X window option.

Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5

The only way to close Firefox 3.5 down then is to use the Windows XP
task manager to force the process to die!!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open or start a Firefox 3.5 session
2. After browsing, invoke the File pull down menu,
3. Select "exit"..........it will then hang
Actual Results:
The window refuses to close and the only way to exit
this instance is as I stated above via the Windows XP task manager

Expected Results:
a normal shutdown of the Firefox broswer

This is occurring on a newly downloaded, as of yesterday, July 8,2009
on a Windows XP SP3 installation that is up to date on other patches /
fixes from Microsoft.
