The article in the URL describes how to enable Firefox to switch tabs when the rotate gesture is performed on supporting trackpads. Might be nice to complete the trifecta of multitouch gestures.
This was explicitly turned off in Firefox in bug 491925 because it caused unexpected results, was undiscoverable, and has no other analogue in the OS/other apps.
Safari doesn't seem to do this, either.

If other browsers decide to start supporting this in the future, we can re-visit the decision, but for now, WONTFIX.
