User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.8) Gecko/2009032609 Firefox/3.0.8 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.22 (20090605) Why is this a 7 click process instead of 2??????????????? Reproducible: Always
Well it would help if you gave some steps to repeat and a bit more of a description. However in any case, I can't see how you make up 7 clicks. The worst without going my way is 6 clicks. You also say paste which makes me believe that you are using the clipboard rather than Insert -> Image. If you already have the image on the clipboard then you can just paste it in via the edit menu, that's two clicks. You can drag and drop the file from windows explorer (one click and hold). Resolving this as invalid as there are ways to do it in two clicks in less clicks, and there's no explicit instructions to repeat.

If you insert an image from a file, it's actually just one (or 1+1/2, if you count it that way) click by dragging the file from the desktop or a folder into the location of the message where you want to place it and drop it there. Re replying while quoting only highlighted text, works in Thunderbird 3.0.
Can't copy/paste directly from ACDSee to body of message. However, can copy/paste to Desktop & thereafter to body of message. ISSUE: Why doesn't Clipboard function between ACDSee & Thunderbird????????????????????
On Windows, the source application has to provide a CF_DIB representation on the clipboard; this may not be the case for your specific application.
