User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird version 2.0.0.22 (20090605) I open up Thunderbird and When it attempts to retrieve mail my computer freezes up completely and I have to unplug it and reboot to get back. It thought it was the window on the bottom right that was causing it for some reason. I figured out how to disable that and it was not resolved. I also have two accounts that I use as sending addresses. One of them does not work now. This all happened shortly after I installed the Thunderbird updated version. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. Please help. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Thunderbird 2.It Retrieves Mail right away. 3.Crash! Actual Results: Reboot and do it over again. Retrieve email.

What kinds of account do you use, POP or Imap ? What is the window at the bottom right ? What Anti-virus do you run, if you run one ?

This happens also with last 2.0.0.23 release? Also if you run Tb in safe-mode? Also if you disable CA antivirus?

This doesn't sound like a TB problem, and no response from reporter. => invalid
