STR:

1. Do a search for "ad blocking"
2. In the search sidebar, click on "3.6" under the Compatibility heading

The results should change to "No results" but the search side bar should not disappear (i.e. you shouldn't have to go "back" to select a different version or other sidebar setting).
Ditto for clicking on product names in the search header bar - the results should updated, but the whole UI / search navigation shouldn't go away.

This is pretty important for figuring out why your search didn't work if you specify any advanced criteria.

+1 agreed, especially when I'm debugging search, this bit annoys me.
