Details
Currently if an engine update fails, it won't be attempted again until next scheduled update. We should retry failed updates after a certain amount of time, backing off exponentially if we're encountering server errors. We should also fuzz scheduled updates (similar to what we do for app updates) to avoid having a bunch of clients hitting the update server at or near the same time.

We already check every 6 hours, and most sites don't support OpenSearch updates, therefore I'm closing this as wontfix as it isn't worth implementing.
