User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090630 Fedora/3.5-1.fc11 Firefox/3.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090630 Fedora/3.5-1.fc11 Firefox/3.5 Oriya and Assamese langpacks have wrong name in XPI package description. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. download ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.5/linux-i686/xpi/as.xpi 2. download ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.5/linux-i686/xpi/or.xpi 3. open install.rdf in both files 4. check "em:name" attribute in Description element. Actual Results: em:name="English (US) Language Pack" Expected Results: em:name="Assamese (AS) Language Pack" em:name="Oriya (OR) Language Pack" This leads into confusion in Tools/Add-ons/Languages where multiple "English (US) Language Pack" occurs.
Hello, Anything that I can do to correct the mistake for Assamese ?
Corrected the toolkit/defines.inc file to reflect Assamese (IN). http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/as/rev/cf8a573950c5
Thanks Amitakhya, changing component to Oriya.

Adding Manoj's email id so that he gets the notification of the bug.
Made necessary changes in the file and pushed in hg for Oriya (or-IN) http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/or/rev/f65c09982fe2
Nit, this could be just #define MOZ_LANG_TITLE Oriya instead of #define MOZ_LANG_TITLE Oriya (OR) In en-US, the (US) is just specifying the variant of English by a region code, and that's not needed for Oriya. Also, OR isn't a region code.
QA Contact: assamese.as → oriya.or
Please let me know if i need to do anything to resolve this. If nothing left then could you please close this bug. Thanks, Manoj
