504463 - Welcome/Good Bye Project/Events Emails are broken (MimeMail module)

Seems with the 1.0 push the Emails you get when you join a Event/Project a broken. As example when you attend http://quality.mozilla.org/events/2009/jul/15/learning-about-mozilla-crash-reporting-and-analysis

You get a Email (at least with postbox) that looks empty and the source code look like http://tomcat.pastebin.mozilla.org/662790

We should fix this asap, since this emails get sent out to community members !

I don't see this happening anymore. The email I got when joining was this:

It looks right on my @gmail and @mozilla.com.
Steps I took:
1. Go to http://quality.mozilla.org/events/2009/jul/15/learning-about-mozilla-crash-reporting-and-analysis
2. Click on Attend Event
3. Click on Leave Event

Both lead to properly formatted emails...

thats strange, it seems that webmail like zimbra can display the mail correctly, but email clients fail :/

An update of the mimemail module fixes this issue.

Please test on stage first.

I tested it on https://quality.authstage.mozilla.com/events/2009/jul/28/test-event-2 and it doesn't happen anymore. What client are you using?

Solved by disabling the MimeMail module on production. we should wait until this is out of dev, anyway. But if for any reason this solution is unsatisfying, please reopen this bug.
