User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-GB; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090624 Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) All files appear to download properly in the download window but after the download finishes the file has no size and it unopenable (.zip and .rar contain no files etc.). Using DAP the files are downloaded correctly but some files are missed by DAP and picked up by Firefox so using another browser is the only way to guarantee that all files will download. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download any file. 2. Try to open the downloaded file. 3. Actual Results: 0kb file. Expected Results: Files should download properly. Dell Studio XPS 16, Vista Home Premium 64, Avira running.
Firefox 3.5, upgraded from 3.0.11 using "Check for Updates" I can confirm this on two different machines running Windows Server 2003 (32 bit), latest updates and service packs applied. When I try to download a file, it immediately appears in the download manager as "Canceled" and it's zero bytes on disk. If I click the little arrow to retry the download, it acts as if it is downloading the file normally. But after it completes, the file is still 0 kb on disk. I did not have this problem in Firefox 3.0.x.

It's hard to tell if this bug would still apply to today's Firefox, Vista is no longer supported officially anymore, thus not worth keeping the report.
