Can never save a permanent link history in the location bar like there was back with ver 2.00.20 and this gets real frustrating. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter websites in location bar 2.Hit the down arrow 3.View that a URL is never saved!!! Only the last ones entered. Actual Results: Scrambled and at random location bar URL history Expected Results: I gave up on savng my URLS Save the URL location bar history
The locationbar is not used for saving locations - it only shows a subset to the history (with bookmarks too, in Firefox 3). But the list is SORTED, it tries to show you what the frequently visit. So not necessarily the last few websites. It's only a shortcut for the websites that you use the most, combined with the search capabilities in Firefox 3. It's not a history list. History is shown in "Show all history" (ctrl-shift-H), or in the history sidebar (ctrl-H).
