some Pages load slow or incomplete (ie. facebook only loads 70-80% of profile pictures, and have to wait 10-20 secs longer at times than normal.) IE loads fine so definatly firefox issue. sometiems doesnt load at all! even after 5 mins but still says its loading. have tried safe moade same result!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to a web page
2.wait for it to load
3.keep waiting
Actual Results:  
same thing everytime

Expected Results:  
load fully and A LOT quicker!

xp pro, Kaspersky anti virus 2009, uTorrent usually open but dont really think that would do anything

yes new with 3.5.1, has always worked perfectly in the past

Please try the new profile for testing and try a full reinstall of Firefox.
Which kind of Firewall and Antivirus Software do you have installed ?

Kaspersky anti virus 2009 and windows firewall. will try profile and re-install now

Are you sure that you have started the safemode correctly = did you got the special safemode startup dialog in your testing ?

fixed is wrong because no bug in the source is fixed by this bug, marking wfm.
This could be a real bug but that means you have to find the reason why your old profile is broken.....
