when opening other window on this window the contents don't return after
putting other window away. so all look real bad...
refresh helps...
No build ID, no URL, no steps to reproduce, vague and confusing description.
reccommending Invalid.
Severity: major → normal
Tapio Piironen could you please take a look at the bug writing guidelines at
http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html and report back.
Thanks you for testing Mozilla and reporting bugs.
I *think* I know what this guy is referring to. Sometimes mozilla gets into a
state where it doesn't refresh it's windows properly as parts of the window get
uncovered. Unfortunately it doesn't seem 100% reproducable. Here's what
sometimes works for me most of the time:
1) Open mozilla to some page
2) Middle-click on a link - the new window will pop up
3) As the contents of the new window is loading, move the new window around (I
successively place the upper window in a couple of locations), so as to reveal
part of the lower window.

What happens:
The lower window sometimes forgets to redraw some of the revealed area, instead
leaving an image of part of the upper window.

Expected:
The lower window should redraw all the newly exposed area

I'm using Linux 200008211, and have noticed it in recent nightlies. I'll attach
a screenshot.

I've noticed this with tinderbox sometimes. If you page down, sometime the table
cells (and some borders) appear empty.
over to layout. probably covered in another repaint bug. The tinderbox page
bug is different.

1)
Okay i try to be more efficient.
My system : redhat 6.2 with all updates, about.
Mozilla build 2000082811:
If one opens a window over mozilla window, in some pages like www.helsinki.fi
the window stays as graph on mozilla.
2)
When downloading all the text is hidden but can be brought visible with mouse.
It is really annoying.

Ill send screenshots of these.
Last time i tried sending screenshots mozzilla couldn't do it. I couldn't press
done to send the files.
the second bug reported about the saving file dialog should be ignored here. It
is already reported as bug 49339. Tapio Piironen, please see keep bug reports
restricted to one issue. Thanks
I suspect this has been fixed. See bug 50606 which sounds like the same thing. I
can no longer replicate the problem and suggest you mark this fixed (or a
duplicate of bug 50606)
No longer happening on Linux 2000091312.

Marking FIXED.
