Usually my settings transfer flawlessly in each new version
Not sure why the history features were turned off in 3.5 or are not working in the same manner as in 3.12
I asked the live chat person and didn't get a clear answer
I have upgraded and downgraded twice
I prefer to use the history features
If I type a few letters in the address bar, or things that I click on in Craigslist stay highlighted...works in 3.12 but not in 3.5.1

Downgrading added the features back

The features worked...

This the first Firefox that I ever had a need to complain
Address bars and history...101 stuff...

please file what you are doing and what you are expecting step by step

history features are NOT turned off in 3.5.1.

try safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
or a new profile

this is most likely profile corruption, not enough informations to debug the issue.
