Self-explanatory... When launching the app, the cursor should be changed to "cursor:wait" instead of "cursor:default".
Still a problem?
We get a little pointer/wait cursor on Windows when the app starts (although it changes back to an hourglass while the app loads). On windows this isn't much of a problem since you can still easily use the rest of the OS. This might be more Mac-specific. Sending to Paul Chen.

This seems to be mac-only so that makes me all but worthless. Doing what pink hates most and sending this to him just because it's mac ;)

I think the splash screen is sufficient indication of busyness. And I just checked a couple of other apps that display splash screens during long startups - no busy cursors.
This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies there as well or resolve this bug. I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken. To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".
