After the latest Firefox update, my right click option is now none exsitent! I didn't know why until my daughter updated her Firefox tonight and she called me to tell me what happened when she did! She now has the same problem that I have!
I can right click on the address bar and copy that, but I cannot right click on highlighted text and copy that! I cannot right click on a picture and copy that! This all sucks big time, why did you guys do this on this latest update?? Give us our right click option back, please!!

Thank you
Pauline Jackson

How the hell do I know how to reproduce this? It is just gone!!

Expected Results:
I was online with Gateway people, and after MANY tries, they had no idea how to fix it! That is because it is a fault of Firefox!

It should have left alone the right click option alone and not deleted it!
There must be something wrong with your computer because I can highlight text and copy it using right-click menu. I can also right-click on an image.
This feature was not removed from Firefox but may not be working for you because you may have an incompatible add-on installed. What addons do you have installed? Have you tried updating them to see if it fixes the problem? You could try disabling add-ons one-at-a-time to figure out which one is causing the problem so that the add-on author can fix the problem. You can of course re-enable the add-ons once you've narrowed down the one causing the problem.
The quickest way to check is to use Safe Mode, which disables all add-ons. Most problems disappear in that mode, in which case one of the add-ons is the suspect.

If Safe mode does not work, please try with a new Firefox profile,

This seems to be caused by a number of different addons, Yahoo! Toolbar being one of them.

Pauline sent me an email (WRONG PLACE!!!). (Geez, I knew she was using Vista before she sent me this.) Here is what she sent me:

Subject: Wrong!

Well myself and my daughter cannot do that after Firefox updated, so there is definitley something wrong with it! Even when I have misspelled a word like above, I cannot right click and have the menu drop down to fix it or add it to dictionary!

Firefox has messed up big time here, we are both running Vista, are you?

We need this fixed and soon please. Daughter has already gone over to google chrome and I am following tomorrow am.

Thank you!
Pauline
Ok, found the problem! I got rid of Yahoo toolbar and problem went away! Don't know if it is a Firefox prob or a Yahoo prob, but I really don't care, I have my right click back, so all is well in my world!!

Anyone else have this problem? Now you know how to fix it!! WOO HOO!!!
Glad it's fixed. But please post comments here instead of sending emails to people.
I have not sent anything to a persons email, as far as I know. All I have done is reply to this site! So just leave me alone! Or if they sent me something, then I might have replied to them, not knowing! All I have done is reply here, I don't know how to do anything else!!

Gees, you people are nuts here! Chuck you Farley!!

All I care about is I fixed my prob without anyone's help from here, you folks don't know much, do you?
Well, safe mode and a new profile would have fixed this too, as they disable Yahoo! Toolbar, so marking this a dupe of bug 505067, as i mentioned eralier.
