Are you asking for this feature? If so you are in the wrong place.
Thanks for sharing your idea. This sounds rather like stuff to introduce in dedicated video players that have a youtube plugin (or whatever other video platform), or youtube specific apps. There are currently no plans to provide this idea in native Firefox (hence closing as WONTFIX), but maybe it could be an extension or Add-On written by somebody interested in this.
