All that comes up is a blank frame and the message "this jpeg cannot be loaded as it contains errors". I know it does not have errors. how can I work around this issue? thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.http://map.primorye.ru/raster/maps/europe/iceland_1970.jpg 2.try and load the image. 3. Actual Results: blank frame and error message Expected Results: jpeg should load fine as in IE none
Works for me. http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode may help you diagnose if this is a problem with extensions or if a faulty profile, creating a new one. Does this problem occur if you save the image, and try opening it? Does the saved image save OK?
The jpeg works fine if I save it and open in IE or paintshop pro etc. but if I try and open it in FF it does not work. It works fine on FF 3.0.11. Only seems to be happening since I upgraded to latest 3.5 version. I saw some chatter on google about it being a caching problem of some kind. It basically happens for every single jpeg image I try and click on from a google image search, so its most likley something to do with how FF is handling the request to load the file.
ok, apologies for this. I killed all my FF windows and retried and it works now. Im not sure what happened but a restart has fixed it. I guess I should have tried that first. apologies. and thanks for the suggestion of safemode which promoted me to try a total kill/restart.
Works for me as well. Resolving per comment 3.
