Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Firefox/3.5.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090715 Firefox/3.5.1

On a web page where I must sign in, there is a User ID and a password field. When I begin to enter the User ID, it provides a list of IDs I have already used. One is "pickaDilly" and the other "pickadilly". I select the item with the lower case "d" and then tab out. Firefox changes it to "pickaDilly", the first selection item.

This makes it impossible to log into a specific website using Firefox.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a website screen that requires the entry of a **case sensitive** User ID and password. Enter an incorrect one with a capitalization somewhere. Make sure Firefox "remembers" your entry.
2. Enter one without capitalization. Make sure Firefox "remembers" your entry.
3. Log out of the website then go back to the log in screen. When you enter the lower case User ID, Firefox should change your entry to the one with the capitalized letter.
Actual Results:
Could not log in to the website. Had to switch to Internet Explorer :(

Expected Results:
Go to the website.

not replaced the good User ID with the erroneous one. This only began to happen once I upgraded Firefox last week.
