Do you have a marquee in a background tab? Sounds like bug 335192.

No, i don't.
Then please provide a URL for a page that reproduces this problem (without any other tabs open), so we can try to reproduce it.
Right now it is quiet ... it happened with all websides i opened. I also heard, that this could happen because a plug in program like "1password". There was an upgrade of this program a few days ago ... maybe this was the cause??
