Details

This will probably become a tracker bug, but for now:

0) make default, move quicksearch inside tab for newsgroups

1) indicate that a search is in progress (spinny, something)

2) indicate when search completes (no spinny)

3) expose faceting UI (will probably make the above easier, by providing real estate)

4) somehow make the sort less obtuse - maybe weigh recency more than it currently is.

4) consider using the message area to show some view that will make it easier to get to the relevant messages.
