Steps to reproduce: 1. Select some text. 2. Cmd+C. Result: Edit menu is highlighted very briefly or not at all. Expected: Edit menu should be highlighted for a significant fraction of a second. This bug frequently makes me think I haven't successfully copied the text, which slows me down. Not to be confused with bug 109844, which is only relevant for long-running commands.
