I am unable to print anything from Firefox 3.5.2 using Windows 7 RC (32-bit) with my Canon S800.
My computer is a Dell Dimension 9100 3MHz Intel processor with 3GB Ram.
The printer just prints out one blank sheet of paper.
I have no problem with Internet Explorer 8.
I have reset the printer with About:config.
I have disabled all extensions and plugins.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open web page.
2. Select File/Print or Print icon
3. Check printer properties.
4. Click OK
Actual Results:
One sheet of paper without printing is ejected.
This does not happen when printing from IE or other programs.
This not happen when using Firefox on a Windows XP partition
Expected Results:
Printed the page or pages.
The Print previw fuction also does allow selecting part of a page

Works for someone on an HP printer, probably a driver issue. Contact Cannon about that.

Also, this might help you:

I have already spoke to Canon. Although they do not have a driver specfic for Windows 7 they said if the Vista driver works with Internet Explorer it should work with Firefox. But it doesn't.

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2b2pre) Gecko/20091016 Namoroka/3.6b2pre and a Canon Pixma iP4300 Printer, I am able to print successfully. I know that is not the model the reporter has, but just thought it would useful to provide information re: a Canon printer being able to print successfully.
