User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 I have an Yahoo email account. On the initial page, there are several folders, like "Inbox", "Spam", etc. Sometimes, when I click on "Inbox" for instance, the Firefox freezes and some time later, a window appears to inform that an script is not responding. I uploaded an image of the window, where the script is fully described. Please visit: http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/227/imagem.gif Thank you. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Access an yahoo email account 2. Click on folders described earlier. 3. Once the script is interrupted, when I click again on the same folder it works correctly.
Do you get the same in the Firefox safemode ? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Ok, I just tried it in safemode, leaving all options unchecked in the initial window. No problems until now... I will be using Firefox in safemode for a couple days, then I will post the test result here. Thank you.
The sfaemode is Firefox without extensions and Themes. If it works in the safemode it could mean that one of your installed addons is causing this (tools/addons/extensions)
Are you using AVG on your system ?
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.12 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing. http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles Also, please consider using the most recent Firefox 4 beta build, your bug may be resolved there.
