The new Mozilla.org site's project-slider isn't working very well.

STR:

1. Load http://www-stage.mozilla.org/ (using Firefox 3.5 on Windows)
2. Click on the < > buttons

Expected:

Project logos slide in and out correctly

Actual:

The logos get clipped, since they don't orient right. See the screencast: http://screencast.com/t/qOcv4DCZ66Q
Attached patch Stop clippingSplinter Review
This should fix the clipping problem when scrolling, or at least make it less bad. It doesn't do anything to fix the location of the logos in relation to the text.

I've applied this patch to trunk in r48942. Thanks!

I think we might rework the slider to clean up the visuals and behaviour a bit anyhow, but it's nice to have it display better in the mean time.

Verified FIXED; in IE 6 I get the flat view, but that's just fine with me. Works just fine in Opera 9.64, Safari 4, IE 7/8, Firefox 3.5, etc.

Things look much better to me too. There are still a few small polish things (such as the attached screenshot that shows some of the text on the far right hand side of the slider getting cut off) but those are probably other bugs.
