Sorry but I don't really know how to deal with this bug.

I tried both Firefox 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 on Mac and the Wikipedia searchplugin is ok

Is there an Italian build of Firefox for Solaris? I can find only en-US builds on the ftp server. Do you install the language pack for Linux?

There's no Italian build of Firefox for Solaris.

Solaris bundles multilang UI of Firefox, it matches OS locale on startup.
But Solaris doesn't provide L10N search engine plugin. It only provides en-US search engine plugin.

We're not going to fix it unless there's a way to make search engine plugin matches OS locale.
