On dialup access, I cannot use automatic timed fetching effectively. So I use the "Get all new messages" menu option. What follows is good exercise for the eyes but is not good use of screen space. Using the status bar, there are three locations to watch for status information, the spinning circle at the top right of the window, the bottom right for a progress bar, and the bottom left for text messages.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the front end window.
2. Request new mail on a slow connection
Expected Results:
Much preferred if the feedback on progress of the fetch was all in one place.
