After the patch in bug 504804 lands, it would be nice if we could find a place in options for a switch to enable/disable virus scanning and the application of zone policy settings on Vista and up.
Yes, i agree strongly, please implement an easy way, preferably not via a about:config switch but an UI option, to switch of honoring those pesky Windows Security Zones!!!
Oh, and by the way, please do it fast! The Tie between FF and Windows by honoring those Zones is damaging FF's reputation to the core and people will start looking for alternatives if this issue is not solved.
Given the traffic on this bug, I sense this is not a highly sought after feature.
