User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_7; en-us) AppleWebKit/530.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.1 Safari/530.18 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.0.13) Gecko/2009073021 Firefox/3.0.13 I got a Javascript error and the error is so long that it pushes the Javascript dialog down way past the bottom of the screen. There is no scrollbox in the error. I cannot move the dialog box to close it, and Firefox will not close gracefully (cannot even right click on Firefox in the dock to close it, have to command-option-esc and the force quit Firefox). Javascript errors alert dialogs (and all dialogs) created by Firefox should allow window resizing and normal OS-dependent window close behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an HTML file that produces a javascript error that is so big that it goes off the bottom of the screen. 2. Open it in Firefox. Actual Results: You are unable to use Firefox or close it and must force quit. Expected Results: You should have some way of closing a huge javascript error dialog in Firefox in OS X even if the dialog is huge.

I have also seen this, on Mac OS X and on Windows XP. In both cases, Google's official blog was the culprit. In both cases, I had to destructively quit my browser session. I have the latest 3.5 Firefox on OS X and the latest 3.0 Firefox on Windows. http://googleblog.blogspot.com
