User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.12) Gecko/2009072518 Firefox/3.0.12
Build Identifier: Prism/1.0b2 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090707 (and earlier)

Log in to Facebook in Prism 1.0b2 or earlier on XP. Click the chat widget in the bottom right corner of the window, just above Prism's Settings widget. Chat opens in a new window, also containing the following message:

Use the Chat list on the right to start a conversation.

You're using an old web browser to browse Facebook. To use the full version of Chat from within a regular Facebook window, please upgrade your browser.

Switch to Firefox

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in to Facebook in Prism 1.0b2 or earlier on XP.
2. Click the chat widget in the bottom right corner of the window, just above Prism's Settings widget.
Actual Results:
Chat opens in a new window, displaying the errant message.

Expected Results:
Expected: a scrolling list of online friends available for chat should have opened in a windowlet within the main Facebook window. Compare with Firefox 3.5 to see "how it should work."

I also observe that in a "working" browser, the chat widget is to the left of the notifications widget, but in Prism it is to the right. This could provide a quick means of identifying whether the current browser is being properly detected as a new browser or not, perhaps.
