User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090804 Firefox/3.5.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090804 Firefox/3.5.2 I think the fact that TestPilot is only visible in the status bar makes it difficult to discover and in a way an inconvenience for people who like and already have their status bar hidden. Reproducible: Always Actual Results: When I first installed TestPilot, I couldn't find it at first because I always have my Firefox status bar not visible (i.e. I've unchecked it in View > Status Bar). Then I started looking for it in the main application menu because I remember there are menu items for my other addons such as Adblock Plus and Google Gears. Expected Results: While I understand that it's written that one should look for the TestPilot icon in the bottom right, I think it would be nice for those of us who like their status bar hidden to just have test pilot in a menu in the main application menu like the other addons.
Definitely a valid concern. We can do what Weave does and duplicate the status-bar-icon menu as a sub-menu of Tools (or the OS-appropriate equivalent menu).

Requesting litmus test: Try out the test pilot menu items from the Tools menu as well as the status bar menu - should work identically in both places.
