Given that there are no calls to NS_ASSERTION in NSS, was this bug intended to be a PSM bug? Or is it simply invalid?

Could be: I'm lost figuring out which parts of the m-c tree are actually NSPR/NSS/related cvs Security stuff :-/ I may have been misleaded by these nsNSS*.cpp files. Is /security/manager/ssl/src/ directory part of regular m-c tree (rules)?

(In reply to comment #1) > was this bug intended to be a PSM bug? Indeed: bug 489502 is enough.
