User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2a2pre) Gecko/20090813 SeaMonkey/2.1a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2a2pre) Gecko/20090813 SeaMonkey/2.1a1pre I wrote an email, attached a jpg photo from a website, sent it to a mailing list, received the email from the list that was large indicating attachment was there, but the attachment was only listed as a link toward the bottom of the email and clicking on it only opened a blank browser window. The preferences are set to send attachments inline. Also, when opening the full headers, the attachment is listed in the attachment box but clicking on it gives me a dialog indicating it's a binary file with only one option, save it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send an email with a jpg attachment to yourself or another recipient. 2. Receive it in your inbox. 3. Open the message. Actual Results: Nothing opens when clicking on link added to message. Saving a binary file is the only option resulting from clicking the item listed in the attachment box. Expected Results: The picture should have been displayed inline without any clicking.
Local mail folders(POP3, "Local Folders")? IMAP folder? If IMAP, offline use is enabled? Can you attach mail data to this bug? (never paste) Save as .eml, or a local mail folder file of the mail only. Because image data itself is irrelvant, replace image data lines by line like "*** NNN lines are removed ***" or "*** Many lines are removed ***". If mail address, text in mail body etc. is sensitive data, replace or remove them, without breaking mail structure and consistency in mail data.
