Verified that the character count is visible w/ Chrome 3.x and IE8.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Minefield 3.7a1pre
2. Visit http://twitter.com/home 
3. Type something in the box.
Actual Results:  
No character count above the box.

Expected Results:  
There should be a character count above the box.

Interestingly enough, the character count is back today with Minefield build 20090815045025.

Yes. It WFM too. Something in the 8/14 build broke it, but now it's back. I'm closing this.
